What is a Freethinker?
A freethinker is a person who forms opinions on the basis of reason, logic and science. A freethinker does not allow authority, tradition, myth, superstition or supernatural beliefs to influence their understanding of reality. By this definition, the persons who accept the philosophical viewpoint of freethought are atheists, secular humanists, naturalists, agnostics and rationalists.
